Steady as they go

As of the 14th of July, Mary Magpie dolls will launch in my Etsy shop.

As with humans, emotions change quickly and so do Mary's so you will never find two alike. Every doll carries a different mood or feel. It may sound funny but I can pick up three of the same head molds and they all look different to me and whisper what each of them would like to look like when born. The minute the brush touches that sweet palette of a face they come to life and start to breathe ~

Living creatures these dolls are and each hold a special place.

Day of the dead

As well as fashion dolls, Mary's world will be filled with original fashions that will be available. There will be many different mini collections. Mary and Corrine are sporting new Day of the Dead fashions.

Mary's 2nd in her BFF trio~! So happy to be here, Corrinne felt she would strut her California Girl side! With tan skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair she is ready to hit the beach in Malibu!

A good friend and comic artist James Meadows has just finished the first installment of Mary's tale! These small comic books will be included with each doll.

Star Princess

With every Mary doll made there is a sister doll. I work in twos so although
no two dolls are alike since I work in twos they will share a skin tone and are born together making them sisters at birth.

There was magic in the air when I created my boudoir Louise Brooks doll for a friend so I created my own personal doll at the same time. A sister doll.

Star Princess is Mary's true persona. Since she is not from our planet and only takes familiar forms. We may see her as a forties actress or a pop star. But Mary's true identity is that of celestial royalty that will soon come to light with the release of the dolls and their comic book they will come with.

Growing up in the eighties I was inspired by many galactic creatures such as Rainbow Brite and Jem. This special Mary was inspired by my youth and all I felt was, and still beautiful. This is the roots of Mary, my childhood, where she began.

Always about the basics

A splash of color and Mary is ready to go! In her simple basic attire she achieves a clasic look. A look of elegance and timelessness.

Each basic doll will be dressed in a simple rouged sheath. With a fabulous wardrobe offered seperately. Each fashion is tagged Mary Magpie so she will never loose track of her clothes, but then again what girl would?

Corrinne and Bettina will also grace the scene in the very near future. First run of Basic girls will be available mid July. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Each doll will come in a basic summer sheath dress in alternate colors and a wardrobe will be available seperately.

Being able to sell the dolls as a basic doll will be more economic for the buyer and then he or she will have the option to buy couture or use fashion doll size clothes they have at home. Either way Mary will fit like a glove into your collection and steal your heart with one glance
